Speculative is an adjective that is used to describe something that is based on guesses rather than facts. Based on curiosity. Uncertain, risky, contemplative, involving chance.

Examples:

  1. He didn’t show much interest when the concept of the business was being explained. However once the figures arose, he showcased a real ‘speculative’ look.
  2. Ronaldo had a ‘speculative’ shot just before half time.
