Salient is an adjective that is used to describe that which is most noticeable or important. Pointing outwards. Moving by leaps or springs. Jetting upwards. Prominent or conspicuous.

Examples:

  2. At first she was taking baby steps towards her goals and visions. However, as soon as she begun ignoring the distractions she went from baby steps to ‘salient’ progression.
