jaded

Jaded is an adjective that is used to describe being bored or lacking enthusiasm,  typically after having had too much of something. Exhausted, fatigued, dulled by overwork or overindulgence. Dissipated.

Examples:

  1. Doing repetitive work for long periods of time can lead to an individual becoming ‘jaded’.
  2. She had a ‘jaded’ appetite, therefor it was time for her to experience some food from unfamiliar cultures to her.
  3. He became ‘jaded’ by all of the excuses and through this he decided to have a no excuse policy on everything that needed to be done.
