amenable

Amenable is an adjective that is used to describe being open and willing to agree or accept something that is wanted or asked for. Able to be controlled or affected by something. Open to change, influence. Liable to be called to account.

Examples:

  1. Whenever his friends would ask him what they should do for the day, he would reply “I’m ‘amenable’, so its up to you boys”.
  2. He was extremely ‘amenable’, to the point that whatever someone told him to believe and do – he would accept.
  3. Being ‘amenable’ is good, but only if it is to people who can guide and direct you towards improvement.
